"So we've got a medic, a couple of firemen and a doctor. Who else in that profession role call? "

Hmm seems to me you're missing a builder, motorcycle cop, cowboy and the red indian, still a way to go...

This is a brilliant prog...

Dredd - I love this type of Dredd story, dark, moody and dangerous. This is what Synammon should be. Let's see more...  - 5

Harry Kipling - going to be big I can feel it, it's original, it's funny, it's got great art from Boo and a giant crocodile. - 5

Lobster Random - Lobster Random is another of those characters that grows on you like a set of pincers evolving from your rib cage, can be a painful experience but in the end it's a distinct addition to the body of the prog. - 5

ABC warriors - if anything was to let the prog down this would be the story. But no, it now has me on the edge of my seat. What's Deadlock up to*, how the hell is Hammerstein going to survive and which one of the Shadow warriors will join the ABC Warriors after this? - 4

86'rs - I think this is great. Was worried that PJ would not do the do, but like Betty Boo he's created a damn fine piece of pop. Easy to read, nice to look at and a definite move on from his previous Dredd stuff in the meg - well done that man. I don't think GRennie does not love writing this I think it's more a case of this story being the geeky girl in the class that will change from plain Jane into a G'mornin. I think he's fascinated with the opportunity of removing her glasses, and letting down her hair, but is wary of an initial rebuke. - 4

Cover - Carl Critchlow is the mighty morphing Power Artist. Used to really like his painted work, but the detail in his line art is outstanding.

As to Si Spurrier having a literal threesome with the writing in this prog his creativity and churnability is unparalled. You all know my feelings about B&K, but the rest of Si's writing, characterisation, imagination and staying power is fantastic. Well done.

Loved reading this prog! Genius, let's have some more...

SPOILERS

* I have a theory that Deadlock is bringing back Joe Pineapples, but one that hosts the spirit of Mars...

Hang on - it says the photo is taken by Mark Harrison, but that's Mark Harrison in the photo!

Now we know how he creates such detailed work in such a short space of time - there's two of him!!!!!

Who's the woman? Ellie De-ville or some such?

"is it just me or does Carlos look like a detective from a 1960s US Police Series?"

LOL :-) Funniest thing all day!

He's the Spanish equivalent of Columbo - 'Hai Carambo' and he's just about to leave but has turned around to ask 'that' question...

Banners - this is getting to be a re-occuring thing with you mate. I think we should call it 'doing a Ryna Hughes' :-)

Prog / Re: Prog 1481 - Die Laughing.........

Bugger me, well don't it's just a phrase, erm this week.

Cover: alright - eye catching, don't like clowns, don't like... oh well you know, look at the eyes. But never said I didn't like Steve Roberts art, very good work just a tadge dark, but makes agood cover.
Dredd - 2 (sorry Steve but you are just not Dredd, also agree with huff on the ricochet thing)
Futureshort - 3 - not bad, like the art
ABC - DEFinitely odd, too streched out now, getting boring
86's - I like this, artwork isnot bad as well.
