Wringing his hands the shopkeeper looks at Mr Ben, dressed as Judge Dredd, whilst Colin McNeill is perplexed once again as a 'fan' asks him to sign, yet again, another set of Discworld novels.

I think that there should be an alternate award 'The Rigellian Hotshot' honoured to those who have not raised Tharg's Mighty Organ and excited the masses with it's greatness...

Any ideas on who?

Great con!

Lovely to meet loads of folks again, but big thank you to everyone who gave my son Ben, the encouragement in his art, ESP. Bolt, Owen, Rufus, Lee Carter, and Bryan Talbot, like passing a baton from my old days in the Preston Speculative Fiction group...

Big thanks goes to Owen though for an amazing Dredd that he gave, yes just gave, to Ben as we were leaving... He's just so chuffed!

Posthumous show 'Thanks' to Buttonman for comparing me to Jabba on my Facebook post, 'these are not the doughnuts you are looking for...'  :-\

Thought bubble is turning out to be the best comic con in the UK, it gets better every year!

Love it!

I bought my son this last year on DVD, it's a brilliant series - wish the bbc would do more like this around Christmas, there was a spate of them in the 80's - really great!

Before Thatcher snatched away a whole industry my family worked in the coal mines around Derbyshire. I have great respect for anyone willing to put themselves in danger, every day of their lives, to put bread on the table for their families and keep our country's electrical and mechanical infrastructure fired up on a daily basis. So it's with sadness for the families and great respect for the four men who lost their lives in Wales today after the terrible disaster in Swansea.

May they rest in peace.
