John Sessions. Died yesterday at him home.

I'm personally gutted.  A brilliant, brilliant man.

Well worth picking up, even though, as I said before, the art on Queen of the Black Coast is a little too loose and cartoony for my taste.

(The upcoming Frost Giant's Daughter looks gorgeous, btw).

Overall, definitely recommended to any Conan fans amongst us.

This really saddens me. Regardless of the scandal that ended his career, I've always remembered hin fondly.

He seemed to emit a cosy, beige, 70s warmth. To me, at least!

Fingers crossed for Revere.

4 years already?!   :'(

That's certainly a new (to me, and I'll bet, most others on here) piece.

Lovely stuff - thanks for posting.

I'm curious. Must admit.

Me, too.  The Batfamily stuff looks very interesting (but then, I'm a sucker for anything "future-y").

I saw a story I now (maddeningly) can't find a link for that showed 25% of DC's income for one recent quarter came from Watchmen, their single largest revenue stream. The #5 revenue stream was V for Vendetta. Imagine for one second that someone, somewhere in DC towers back in 1986 says "Hey, guys, howsabout maybe we don't screw Moore and Gibbons on this...?"

So true, Jim.

What we could have had!

Mickey Mouse Disco.

Every track a banger.

Then bought precisely nothing until The Smiths came along.

Books & Comics / DC - Future State (2021)

That's a lot of comics...especially when they're all coming out over just 2 months.

It's clearly the "5G" reboot repackaged and condensed, and it'll be interesting to see the reaction and sales of these.

DC are clearly gambling big on this one.

These reprints are starting to come thick and fast - fantastic stuff.

Just to pop back on the mentions of Abnett and Annihilation, the omnibus is due back out mid November,  with the long out of print sequel, Annihilation: Conquest, getting a reprint May 2021.

Heartbreaking about Dame Diana.

Loved her to bits.

We shared the same birthday, which blew my tiny mind as a kid.

Sleep well.  You will be missed.

KS and Indiegogo can be a bit dodgy, to say the least.

This sounds a bit off but can't quite work out why.

As long as punters are made aware they can pick up floppies months earlier than the trades, and for normal prices, then fair enough...i guess.
