I think he will, it just needs a more concerted effort by us, if we fragnent out vote none of the people who deserve it will ever get it.

Not trying to swing the voting but if we could agree on a lifetime achievement nominee then they may have a chance of recognition, otherwise their chances are slime and every year will just see the same names getting nominated for the big award.

Moore's always winning, Wagner won the lifetime award last year, so as usual I'm going for McMahon.
The only artist that everyone agrees has made the biggest contribution to British comic art, either through his own work or influencing other artists in modern times.
Come on lets give Mike the recognition he deserves and has never got, you know it makes sense, vote McMahon.

http://www.camkennedy.com/>Cam Kennedy?s web page.
has details of stuff for sale such as The VC?s
http://www.camkennedy.com/I/vcs1.jpg>
His entire run of Rogue art has been sold, there are Dredd pages up for grabs.

There?s an episode of Cams http://www.frothersunite.com/files/marbles/fanboy/FightingMann.html>Fighting Mann on Colonel Marbles website.

Nothing to do with anything just like the  pic and shows another style of Cams we rarely see.

>Who wrote Disaster 1990, which also featured Bill Savage? I know it wasn't Pat, and was no longer even editor at the time. Was it GFD?

If I had the spare cash I?d do a 2000AD related fanzine with nothing but Pat Mills related characters in and donate any proceeds made to religious and rape charities.

Reminded how great the art on the early invasion strips were.

Not really excited about the Mills & Adlard strip, but if they dropped king of the rewrites and gave it to GFD with Cam Kennedy now that would be something to get excited about.

Is Savage really a Pat Mills character when he obviously wrote so little of it? According to this site he wrote the first one. He was editor till Prog 16 so he probably played around with the early scripts but lets see if Savage becomes a woman hating, religious zealot with a preachy message to tell.

Have we yet seen anything that?s truly inspired, some good pics and some others that have raised a smile but there are a lot of pics that just rehash what we're used to seeing, the shape of Dredd?s helmet, the colour scheme, the eagle.

Thought I?d post some Dredd designs from my friend in Andorra. I reckon they could be in with a chance of winning.
