I normally get my 2000AD Trades from Amazon UK but I decided to start collecting the US editions of the Dredd case files. I noticed the US version has a cheaper rough paper stock compared to my UK sourced Rebellion collections.
Are the UK versions printed on the same paper as Strontium Dog, Rogue Trooper, Nemesis etc ?
I never see the rebellion Books in Bricks and Mortar stores over here so I was curious to know. The US versions do work out cheaper for me when postage is taken into account.

I have just been listening to your podcast 39 and its such a contrast to the US comic book podcasts I normally listen too. I right enjoyed it and plan on delving into the back issues. Keep up the good work.

p.s. Brendan McCarthy did some nice work on earlier Strontium Dog issues.

A couple of questions

Why did British comics like 2000AD tend to go for the multi story approach rather than the US Marvel and DC comics format of one character per comic ?

Does Pat think there will be a movie based on one of his wartime comic book characters such as "Charley's War"?

Im a fan of the Early 2000AD stuff and Starlord. Havent read anything produced in the last 15 years but always open to suggestions.
