Megazine / Re: Meg 308 - Mega-City Meltdown

Had to post to say Insurrection just gets better and better.Easily one of the best strips to ever appear in the Meg with stunning artwork to match (Colin Macneil you surpass yourself).Dredd is now firing on all cylinders and happy to see Anderson returning (hopefully this time with a better story that the last).
Glad to also see Dreddlines back, this should be in every issue -there were even a couple of (short) answers !!!Wow ,somebody must have had enough coffee that day.You would get far more letters if bothered to answer them, as they always do in 2000ad.
On the fence about Numbercruncher just yet, not sure why it's in the Judge Dredd Megazine -I know you could say that about a few other strips, but maybe this is happening a little TOO frequently.
Not on the fence about Samizdat Squad -that was utter S**** ,pure and simple with a pathetic ending.Speaking of which, an interview with Shaky Kane !!!Perhaps one of, if not the worst artist to ever to appear in the Meg  :-[,why inflict him on us again???When we have tried so hard to forget..........

Got to say I'm really intrigued now.Feels a bit like walking into the Slaughtererd Lamb, with a cluster of frightened villagers inside -"Beware strangers, dont stray far from the path , there be a monster out yonder , lurking , waiting......." oooooohh."What be his name I ask", and and hushed tones they whisper "Scojo!"

Hmmm,  post some pics of what you think he looks like ,the most amusing and appropriate photofit will be made into a new 2000ad villan (well, possibly maybe) :D

Sorry for the inconvenience but there is one obsessive loon and a lot of spambots so people do occasionally get caught in the crossfire - it is either this or nothing I'm afraid.

Emperor eh?No overtones there then.To quote the great professor of philosophy Dr Pepper -whats the worst that can happen? :-*

ABCwarbot -don't worry about it, I found some of your posts quite amusing. This is not entirely a proper forum with free speech , as Mark Taylor put it -the only free speech you have here is what we give you (sheeesh -he really must miss Stalin terribly). His atitude reminds me of Born on the 4th July "Love it or leave it Pal!Love it or leave it!"
As I've said before you should just say what you like ,have disagreements but don't try and stop other people having opinions -I'm looking at you Soapy I notice you often slap down newbies.Bear in mind ABC that some on here still believe Robocop was the high-water mark of 80's cinema  :-[
Keeping posting ABC and above all have fun  :D

Thanks but the very last thing I want to do is stop people having opinions.

I think they've done an awesome job. I cannot wait to see that bad boy in action. It reminds me of the pummelling no nonsense design of Shakaras ship

I'm puzzled that on one hand, people are complaining about the contemporary look of the vehicles- and then, when complaining about the look of the Lawmaster are recommending they use... umm... a contemporary bike?
Am I missing something here?

Yes ,an adequate level of common sense

I can't believe anyone's sticking up for that.  It looks cheap.  It also looks like one of those bikes you'd see at a downmarket custom type show.  Dredd's bike should look expensive, BIG and he should look like he's sitting on a whacking great chopper with his hands further up in the air on higher handlebars.  He shouldn't look like he's riding a flippin scooter.

First of all the uniform looks cheap and not much like the comics (apart from the helmet) and now this cheap looking bike.

I'm losing faith in this production fast.

Everyone just needs to calm down.Contrary to earlier posts this is simply a new low -tech Mobility scooter that has no connection to the Dredd movie

They need to replace who ever was in charge of vehicles in the next film IF they make one, everything else is fine. The uniform is passable,no complaints but i just can't get over the cars and that 'bike'.My Suzuki GZ  looks more like Dredds ride than that.

I'm sure if you have a spare couple of million to donate for larger, more impressive vehicle construction/hire/outfitting, they'll happily accept.

A couple of million???!!I dont recall Dredd riding a gold-plated ,diamond encrusted bike firing armoured piercing emeralds at perps -do you?
For such a big company their productions values suck -and if I hear anymore comparisions with Robocop (an utterly shite film) or 'not the right lighting or context' I'll puke
