Maybe Terra Meks was just wishful thinking. I still say it's the best 2000AD story, every home should have one.

Yeah, I must get round to reading it again, there was also something about the Venus Blue Jeans story line teaching young boys to distrust women!

The initial run of Rogue Trooper has to be fairly high on the list?
RT is possibly the most maligned popular 2000AD character. Even Pat Mills never misses an opportunity to stick the knife in. I haven't read it in over 25 years but it sure still looks nice.

Slaine is the 'worst' offender in the GN world I think
Yeah, I think Slaine is the one 2000AD character who benefits most from passing trade. The Sword & Sorcery, Conan familiarity must account for at least 25% of custom.

Maybe they thought it was 31-78 inclusive but I think that's just making excuses for them.

A nice looking copy of Prog 32, but people are willing to pay over £60 for one??  Gulp.

Prog's are aplenty on eBay, and you can snag very affordable early issues - and in superb condition - for peanuts, if your prepared to watch and wait..
It's amazing how many top condition collections still exist. Especially when you consider the paper quality, storage issues and the amount of opportunities to clip out pages. I got my banned issues from a guy who bought them new and stored them in freezer bags. They were pure white but I was more impressed with him having freezer bags in '77.

If I'd been in charge at Titan I would have probably bankrupted them by reprinting Flesh, Inferno and MACH 1. Come to think of it I would have just reprinted as many progs as possible in their entirety in the compendium format.

I wonder why Flesh never got the Titan treatment back in the day?

For the top ones I'm guessing at Judge Death and non Dredd story Terra Meks? I've easily read Terra Meks more than any other story and was really pleased to read an old Gibbons interview recently where he cites it as his best work.
Which others have had heavy reprintings?

Porn is just a poor substitute for a healthy imagination.

I have bought progs for short periods over the years. The last started with the Xmas prog 2012 which I thought was superb. The return of Strontium Dog was brilliant as was that immigration thing with the rascism story and also that old copper with the tache was the best of all but then Zaucer Of Zilk started and that was well bad....REALLY bad. I love Brendan's stuff normally but that was drivel and I kind of dropped out again. I thought Zombo was a great idea but I agree with the guy above, Sinister Dexter and Nikolai Dante just left me cold as did that fat bloke Ezquerra did.
