I bought a high grade run on ebay back in 2000. I took a half day off work to bid on them! They were all in batches of 10 1-100 the only lot I lost was unsurprisingly 70-79. When I got them I realised I should have bid waaaay higher as they are to this day my permanent set and the best I've seen. It took me 2 more years to find the banned ones in the same grade. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that 71 is printed on different paper? It's silky and smooth if in new condition. I stroke mine lovingly, often (I'm referring to the prog here btw)

Looks like a completed copy in high grade is going to be around £50-£60. This one, apparently 'looks like the stickers have been put in with great care'.
I bet my original copy looked as though they had been thrown from distance. Panini; Heroin for children.

I remember seeing the TV ad but didn't buy a copy until 17 which I'm sure I bought because of the dinosaur cover. So if Hotspur or Rover had a dinosaur cover that week I would have bought that instead.

Me and a couple of mate's were mad on this. The sticker album to end all sticker albums.

nice one Jdroid have you been a constant reader?
I bought a new collection back in the late 90's and was amazed to realise that I must have stopped buying progs around 140. This may have been due to the printers strike where a few weeks went progless. Not sure when I started again but was on board for the Robo Hunter The Beast of Blackheart Manor story which was extremely memorable. I think I stopped again shortly after that finished and came back for prog 420 up to around 730. Yeah, that sticker album; I bought one on ebay years ago a serious nostalgia hit that was. I also bought a set of those Wanted cards for a pittance recently. I thought they would be extremely rare. All I need now is the first set of the Dr Who Weetabix standees and I'm done (sort of...)

5 pages in and no one's mentioned Spizz? Mega City 3 is a classic from '80

They are more famous for their Trek fixation, this one especially from '79

Music / Re: What's everyone listening to...?

I've decided to stop trying to find new stuff and started devoting my listening time to some classics; Cardiacs, Melt Banana and Gauze. All have exceptional discogs that are timeless.

Thanks. I reckon it was probably worth around £75 at the time must have been 2001ish. Not sure what the going rate is now. There were some Inferno title pages on ebay a few years back for around £250.

I only own one 2000AD original. This was bought from the dealer opposite me at the 1st British Comic Show that the Book Palace did. I never had any intention of buying original art but loved this straight away and could  hardly turn it down for £20!

Yeah, I thought ebay was down yesterday. I missed out on a few good deals and then a few hours later realised that the .com site was working fine.

When I first saw that Rook 8 cover back in the 90's it came in a big pile of old Warren mags. I just assumed it was the other way round as I always associated Warren with the 60's ad 70's.

Hi all
I have most of the first 1200 2000AD - I managed to sell the first 3 privately but can't be bothered doing the same with the rest.
If someone wants to give me a decent bulk price and can collect in London then they're yours!
Cheers!
Hi
I would be interested in the rest 4-720 if you still have them
