Operation?  You wimp.  You're supposed to gnaw it out with your bare teeth.

That's how a REAL MAN would do it, Art.

Judging by the title of this thread you started, you seemed to have decided it was great before you even began reading the thing...

Ahem...

I believe Parasite is actually a movie made by Rebellion.  Shoreline must be handling it for them.

>>It could be Robert Patrick. He has to play dredd. Yes yes yes Oh Yes. No other actor has the range or the versitality. Im just Oh so excited!! It must be!

Ditto.  I hope they redesign the uniform to make it more of a leather hotpants type of outfit.  Imagine how great that would be!

It was Elvis he impersonated in Godzilla, and rather well, even if it was just one line.

But he does do a John Wayne impression in one of his other films - Leon.

Well, next time we meet up, you'll have to tell me some thrilling accounting biz stories.  With the right research material, 'Cranston of Accounts-Div: Licensed to Audit!' could yet become a thrilling reality.

btw, Accounts-Div fans, Judge Cranston makes a guest star appearance in the Dredd vs. Death novel.  You heard it here first.

I dunno.  'The Adventures of Tek-Judge Mike the Mechanic', 'The Casebook of Med-Judge Kildare' and 'Cranston of Accounts-Div: Licensed to Audit!' doesn't exactly get my thrill-circuits buzzing...

>>Get rid of psi indeed, pfweh, responsible for some of my favorite MC1 stories you bunch a ingrates!

No, Anderson's been responsible for some of your favourite stories.  As far as the rest of Psi-Division goes, I think Accounts Division has been more use in averting/predicting all the various city-wide disasters.  ;->

>>Probably women are better suited to being PSIs because they're all feminine & sensitive & stuff. A REAL man would be a Street Judge...

That's what I would have said, but so how come the only two heads of Psi Division we've seen - Omar and Shenker - are men?

Bah, what a crock.  It should be Brian Blessed or nothing.

Those BBC fools - do they know nothing?

They should have cast gorgeous, hunky Robert Patrick.  He's the man for the job.

To prove it, I'm busy Photoshopping up a piccie of lovely Robert wearing a long scarf, a floppy hat and holding a bag of jellybabies.  When you all see it, there will be no doubt at all left in your minds that Robert is perfect.

Can't really see that working, to be honest.

Even if Dan was up for it (which I very much doubt - I certainly wouldn't be, in his place) an already-established writer isn't going to be that interested in the gig, while putting a newbie on it would be a real slap in the face to the original writer.

Arthur's right.  While Sin/Dex, along with just about every other 2000AD character, are Rebellion-owned, Dan created them an has written (and continues to write) all their stories to date, and it would be a HUUUUGE breach of Nerve Centre etiquette to kick him off the strip, or bring in another writer to do some stories without his say-so.

For a bike courier who's (presumably) got no military training, he's also an amazingly good shot.

Unless, of course, picking up an automatic rifle for the first time and firing off a burst of shots (in the dark, in the pouring rain) to sever a steel chain is a lot easier than it sounds.
