Congratulations - and I have to wonder exactly what counts for Guinness.  I'm guessing each individual comic (including any reprints, doubles, variants), but what about fanzines and unlicensed items?  Did each element of the wedding outfit count per item, as a whole or not at all?  I'm going to guess that a lot of people on this board have in the region of 3,000 items (majority of progs, megs, specials, annuals, smattering of reprints, Tshirts, etc).  Can I count collectors cards individually or as a lot?  Cards as part of a game must be one item (as if any were missing the game would be considered incomplete).

Incredible season so far, the speed this stories going I think they can wrap this up next season.

I don't think the deletion of an online recipe archive is a tragedy [2], but I don't think it makes any sense. The cost savings are counted in pennies; the only (fuzzy) logic behind it is that it will somehow allow other content providers to make more money and pay more tax.

That's clearly horseshit. The BBC belongs and is needed online more than anywhere else.

There was something in early reporting about how it needed to be differentiated from newspapers - though I wasn't aware that newspapers were well-known for providing a recipe database...

I knew there was something else I wanted to write.  We've got 29 years of largely un-chronicled time on the streets for young Joe - if he did die in 122 years time we could start on the Year One / Year Two instead - introduce enough new judges and villains and (other than the main character) we wouldn't even know which ones will survive through to 2099.

He already has paper lungs, doesn't he?

Anyway - in the few US comics where the kill characters and they stay dead, they don't seem to have any problems with the comic-buying public with having other characters take the same (invariable) superhero mantle - with name and costume intact.

I'd be in favour of a Taggart - main character/actor dies and we follow the exploits of the supporting cast - in this case MC1 as much as any person.

The first four issues of Legends of the Law were written by John Wagner and are well worth reading. The story is about Anderson as a cadet being assessed by Dredd.

As for the actual question - I like Legends of the Law - some pretty good artwork (including covers), but give the main DC title a miss, much like the IDW mini-series vs main title (unless you suffer from the curse of completism).

Doesn't Dredd look so young in that pic?  Guess it's true what they say about realising you're getting old when you think that law enforcers look young...
