Labour MP accidentally switched on the Number 10 lights an hour early

(then Johnson fails to switch them on at the appointed time)

Damnit - as well as being familiar with his work from White Dwarf and Fighting Fantasy covers, he also went to some of the same nightclubs I did, so I got to told him in person (without being too fanboyish) how much I loved his work.

On the re-imagining note, could anybody with a copy of Rogue Trooper: War Machine confirm whether it says 'created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons' or 'created by Dave Gibbons and Will Simpson'?

Robbie Shakespeare, bassist and one half the of the world's greatest reggae rhythm section Sly & Robbie. They were the backbone of Black Uhuru and have played with just about everybody.

Hunted, by the way.  Not the best of the current crop of Rogueverse stories, but still decent.  Armageddon was derivative and didn't go anywhere (and I'm unsure if it would have gone anywhere if it had continued).

Urban Strike was right in the middle of the infamous nineties period, in more ways than one!

Dandridge gets my vote, unreservedly.

Was Hunted the one which finally gave the TG a motive for betraying the Southers?  And did so using established elements?

Tharg the Mighty has had a few amusing episodes, and quite a few were drawn by top tier artists.

Carlos Ezquerra, Massimo Belardinelli, Eric Bradbury - what more need be said?

tharg the mighty

i miss having a factual, documentary strip in the prog.

Well, this more need be said - the stories illustrated by the art droids I mentioned were the ones running when I became a squaxx, and the droid versions of the creators really highlighted where the talent was.  We get droid names nowadays, but the representation in the prog?  Not so much.

(so my vote also goes for Tharg the Mighty)

2000AD Prog 446: Messerschmitts in the Mega-City! "Himmel! This isn't Stalingrad!"

Young Alpha accepts the missino to save the Earth, even if it means saving everybody's lives, Bad Jack is determined to go to Earth, even if they have to kill to get there.  The second world war ends - in the twenty second century!  What to do with a robot butler?  At the Souther / Nort peace pact, aliens attack!

Shark spere has made great strides since chipper. There was a great drive in the city. The bronze medalists specializing in ""surface air"" won 7 and the jury left 10 of them singing national heroes. But the recent failure of Joe's reunion has frustrated Redbeck. Now this is his will and his freedom. John from the first hearing is a co-author of the last few years, (Boys Rules) and Marcus. Big update, the great renewal (United States) And major cities ... Perkins (beware).

F'r instance - I'd have thought that "nightmare" wouldn't have had any problems being translated, but we're left with "knight marsh".

Of course, quite a lot of that just sounded like a normal John Smith synopsis :)
