There must be something in the air at the moment.  If you would like help proof reading assignments give us a shout (I know this year is pretty much over but still ... )

The worst thing about the canine is that it requires diligence to keep it at bay.  That takes energy and effort.  That drains.  It doesn't produce the full on effects when you've been at it for a while but it doesn't help either.

Have a bit of self compassion.  You've achieved more than you give yourself credit for.  One thing I've learned over the years as well comparing myself with people I hardly know is that when I do get to know them better their lives aren't anywhere near as great as I thought.  You'll probably find you've made miles more progress than some of them.

Mental health has been very squiffy these last few weeks. A lot of late (early?) finishes at work throwing my sleep pattern out of the window, a few too many close calls and extensions to assignments at Uni having me believing i’m not good enough, sudden and inexplicable bouts of crying and anxiety, an unhealthy obsession with the fact i’m fast approaching another year of what feels like no progress, age, comparing myself to other people I barely know, and a profound sense of melancholy.

The worst of the black dogs hasn’t returned but it’s been on the mind, with nearly 2 years cut free i’m not eager to break a record.

At the end of the most recent episode we talk for a moment about what we'd call the show if we start talking about Starlord, now that we've getting to the end of Action. Starlord is a tough one, because a lot of these other titles work on with an RE in front of the title (ReAction, for  instance) but ReStarlord isn't as good!

Makes sense - if I listen to podcasts in my lunch hour I often miss the last few minutes :-)

Wait - is Book III the one where Mek-Quake's brain has been transplanted into a gargantuan robot who battles another giant robot (Torque-Armada) into submission during the siege of Yggdrasil (the world tree)?  I love that book: it got the centre-spread colour pages (back when that was important) and made great use of them.

Still: just because I loved it doesn't mean everyone has to.

We'll have none of that getting-on-with-each-other, respecting-one-another's-opinions here - this is supposed to be an internet forum, after all!

Pussyfoot 5 was indeed short-lived and (at least up to 2014) consisted of only two series (both of which were reprinted in the Meg 281 floppy): Fast Breeder (1184-1188) and Alien Sex Fiend (1251-1256).

I found Missionary Man to be very hit and miss (story-wise) but often a showcase for great art.

He has a reoccuring villian... well reoccuring of sorts. Here they are called Vathek. In tyranny Rex Deus Ex Machina its Reverend Gabriel Haze and I can't remember and am too lazy to look up what they're called in Firekind. Do they appear elsewhere as well? I can't remember immediately but it wouldn't surprise me. Anyway we we know what's up with that?

Mr. Vathek in Pussyfoot 5 and Mr. Cheetl in Firekind are both members of the Chadarisq-Khan, a race of hooved intergalactic torturers. The chap in Tyranny Rex looks a bit like one, but, if I remember rightly, isn't one.

Thanks Greg that rings a lot of bells.
