Can anyone tell me what prog or story it is where you find out how Happy Shrapnel died?

Bouwel

Prog 397, Nemesis the Worlock book 4

Edited to add: It's literally two lines saying he died in a brawl.

Hope this helps.

... on Mars, IIRC. Because that makes a difference.

I had a fantastic re-working of Happy Shrapnel as the robot equivalent of an Old Testament prophet (complete with a some sketches that were remarkably good, for me) until I was taken to one side and had it gently explained that Pat would sooner see my (or any other writer's) nads on a stick than let people develop stories based on his characters.

Never mind, eh?

Cheers!

Cheers lads!
I always saw a returning Happy Shrapnel to be like Lancelot at the end of Excalibur, but lets not go there.
Still, a robot with a beard is a thing of beauty.
