Whilst i was moving house, unpacking stuff i came across The Pit and instantly stopped what i was doing and read it. It still holds up now as a top notch ass kicking Dredd story. Even Carlos's dodgy computerised colouring does not bring it down in any way. The story flows beautifully as a graphic novel and the writing is excellent. Best bit......."My name is Dredd, you may have heard of me......I'm a stickler" Brilliant.
You creeps must think I sailed through space on a synthi-biscuit!

Yeah an absolutely brilliant read. Only read it a year or so ago in my catch up and loved. Like few other stories I'm already hankering to read it with my completely up to date perspective. It was a bold move for a Dredd epic, much needed and wonderfully executed.

I personally have no problem with the way it ended. The Bongo Wars (was it?) provided a neat way to wrap things up and was efficient and effective if you ask me.

Bluecube

A brilliant story arc with lots of quotable lines. My fave was between Dredd's second in command and Dredd as Dredd is heading out on patrol "Will you require an escort?" "Don't be ridiculous." Class!
An Atlantean Triumvirate
Ghosts of the Past
The Centre Cannot Hold

My eBooks are available here for Amazon Kindle. Feedback always welcome!
