O Lucky Stevie!

Stevie's buying this despite never seen any of the films. Dead set.

You've never seen Terminator or RoboCop? Blimey, that must have taken hard work. I've seen RoboCop more than once in a day (although I did also watch Hitcher three times in one day) and can't really work out how many times I've seen it now.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Wow Stevie.

In a way, I almost envy you.

See Robocop post-haste! It will change your life forever!

Terminator is also amazingly good.

(I can't believe I even have to say this...)

Robocop, the best Judge Dredd film to date.
Haha, too true! I remember coming out of the Cinema and thinking...well, that was a ripoff. Of course, it's different enough to stand on its own, really. I was just annoyed that it wasn't a Dredd film.

There's a very nice if compartmentalised review of the issue over at Newsarama today.

The fella's likes a bit of PJ, of his pencils

QuoteThe artwork on the issue is by P.J. Holden, whose dynamic artwork gives the comic a fabulously gritty sci-fi/action feel to it that pays tribute greatly to the look of the original movies.

of his inks

QuoteHolden inks his own pencils on this title, and brings his linework to life with some bold and vigorous brushwork that gives the book a stunningly powerful look.

That guy, Edward Kaye, gives good review, and not just because he likes droids I happen to like. Not very many reviewers have any skill a describing what makes an artist special.

Oh, and I would like to again comment on the incredible growth of PJs style in the last three years. His stuff has so much energy and strength now.
