So that would be about progs 150 to 500 or so? 

Yeah, that sounds about right. Though i jumped ship about a year or two after the Apocalypse War, as i felt it had gone down hill - i was wrong, of course.
Plus it was around this time that a lot of the original artists were going onto other things. So, i missed out (first time round, at least) on stuff like Halo Jones, and Bad Company et al.

I'd agree that there is some good stories there (not from reading them at the time but from reading them in the complete judge dredd monthly years ago and in the case files more recently) but don't know what other stories were there at the time.

Just about every strip was firing on all cylinders back then, too many to mention but my personal faves were Rogue trooper, Nemesis, Robo Hunter, Skizz, Harry 20,  etc.
