This has been a predictably difficult year to make a decision on, so I decided to consider the best from each of three basic types of cover:  Action scene from a story; Character Portrait; Design.  (The fourth category would have been Group Shot, but apparently Wells can't handle numbers bigger than 3).

In 1st place with 3 pts:  1882 - Gorgeous colours, action, character, and a worthy celebration of the rebirth of Slaine as a strip to be savoured.
In 2nd place with 2 pts: 1869 - Masterful portrait, makes me want to buy the Prog to find out more, which is the definition of a winning cover.
In 3rd place with 1 pt: 1911 - Brilliant design, and who could fail to be intrigued?

HMs: I feel bad that I didn't give Chris's fantastic Klegg or any of Greg's and Cliff's Dredds a place, so they all get HMs.
