Famous Mortimer

Up to episode 5, and it's still really strong. Nothing new to experienced fans of sci-fi such as us, but it's a strong cast, the stories are interesting and the world they're building has potential. Stick with it, I say.

Just finished watching the last episode in season one and it's been a pretty good series; I'm definitely on board for a second season.  Wesley Crusher as a beardy bad man was a bit of a struggle though, his acting range stretches all the way from A to B...

Professor Bear

I'm not sure I approve of this Manimal thread being derailed, but Will Weaton, much like Felicia Day, is more of a nerd institution than he is a thespian for the ages.  All I could think while watching him in Dark Matter was "there's him off Twitter."

I've watched all of this now, and I still don't know why it's called Dark Matter.  There was a half-assed superweapon McGuffin at one point, but it used "white matter."

I've been struggling through this series and all I can think is Doesn't Matter.
