I don't really know any people here, (I've swapped emails with one or two of you in the past) so I hope this isn't an old question for the board.

What (if any) TV shows of yesteryear have you bought on DVD? or are there any you'd like to see on the format?

I've recently enjoyed (once again) Season 1 of Space 1999 (I've even found my ultra rare stun gun!) and I've also picked up all four box sets of The Professionals for between ?10 - ?15 each.

Our local market has the JOE 90 box for half price (brand new) but I got to watch the funds so I can get dirty beers in Bristol this coming May.

Any others...?

I'd really like the Captain Scarlet set, I've also got The Prisoner set too which is rather good... and "Bod" which I got for a fiver ;-)

HMV are doing the New Avengers (complete) for 30 dabs in their latest sale.

I've got Spaced, Hitch-hickers and The Stone Tape plus some freebie Joe90s I'd forgotten about. I also gained Tomorrow People via shedcon that I've still not watched yet but hope to before the next one!

I'd love to see Survivors (all of it) on DVD

I've got the Ripping Yarns dvd set, featuring Michael Palin and Terry Jones, which I won in an excellent Class of 79 competition, and very good it is too!

David, what is the Robin Of Sherwood Season 1 set like? (if that's what you have) I've seen it in the stores but it's always full price, it usually comes highly recommended.

I've a lady friend coming over from the States in May for the ROS convention in Bristol (!), same weekend as the Comics Convention so I need to brush up on the series.

It's pretty good Ed. Reasonable picture, nice set of extras. There's a making of from the time, and that sort of thing.

I think M.V.C. might have an exclusive thang free with them, but it might just be a postcard set or something like that.

Thanks David, I've been meaning to buy it for a while now, I'm simply making do with the Clannad CD at the moment!

I'll certainly buy it soon, I heard about that MVC offer, I think Play have it at reasonable price too.

Cheers
