Something about the sticky wafer that places these in some kind of biscuit top ten. Colin? A vote?

Lemon Puffs!  That pic looks relatively recent - any idea where they can be purchased in the third decade of the 21st century?
My local Best One convenience store, for starters. Same with those jammy marshmallow biscuits.

Ta - had been looking in supermarkets and online, hadn't thought of smaller convenience stores.  There's a Best One not too far from me (though not very convenient to get to) so can go there if none of the more local ones have them.

p.s. my stepmum really likes them but they're not as easy to get as they used to be...

I normally eat them in one mouthfull, whole thing popped in, that upsets some people !

That reminds me, I once had a dream that my teacake had no marshmallow in it. Any idea what this might have meant?

The trouble with biscuits (now I am old and more sophisticated  ) is the cheap and thus over-sweet chocolate they use. I loath cheap chocolate.

It's national biscuit day and the first thing I thought of was the excellence of this thread.

I raise a biscuit (own brand custard cream, of course) to you all!
You're a dark horse, Boots.

And a belated happy National Biscuit Day to all.
For my part, I have found comfort in the simple wholesomeness of Dunnes Stores' own brand chocolate digestives.
An honest and unassuming biscuit – eight or ten* of which provide an excellent accompaniment to a mug of coffee.

*or fuck it – might as well finish the pack now it's open
Why can't everybody just, y'know, be friends and everything? ... and uh ... And love each other!
