Theres a bumper crop of comics events at the ICA on Sunday 29th including:

DIY Comics: Online vs Offline
Warren Ellis and Mike Carey Talk
Alan Moore: An Extraordinary Gentleman (with Melinda Gebbie, David Lloyd  and Oscar Zarate)

I'm up for this, so if any other boarders are going to attend let m know and we'll have a pint or two between talks.

Then the week after they've got Chris Ware, Joe Sacco and Sophie Crumb all doing talks, plus numerous other bits and pieces. Contemporary-arts-tastic!

ARRISARRIS

How many others of you buy all the audio adventures, i think they are reasonale to pretty good, but could be brillant. Dont mind the theme to Strontium Dog but the Judge Dredd one needs a lot of work. I love the little character touches in S.D. especially the Gronk & Middenface.
I also think old J.D leaves Mega City to often.
What does anyone else think???

Pity Moore himself couldn't attend the event.

Sounds top noch though, David Lloyd is another really nice bloke. I met him at UKACK many years ago and got a V for Vendetta sketch from him. Excellent!!
