I got Fear and Loathing (I think it was that one anyway) from the library a while back and rather enjoyed it.  I also got a small Marshal Law novelette (for want of a better word. A text piece is what I mean but not large enough to be a novel) which I didn't like much. The story wasn't too bad, but the style of writing wasn't my cup of tea. Based on that I'd say he should stick to comic writing. It had some nice comic-style art in it though.

Loved ML when it came out, great to see those double gusseted caped clowns getting some of their own treatment
