Kiss appeared in an issue of Howard The Duck i think.

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that Kiss had their own Marvel comic printed in "GENUINE KISS BLOOD!" or some such rot. (In other words they went to the printers and had a few drops mixed in with the ink for a photo op.)

Ignatzmonster

Heard Mark Gruenwald had his ashes mixed into the ink for the Squadren Supreme trade. Never hugely fond of Squadren Supreme.

It looks like Loose Talk did a Dan Dare single too.

House of Usher

I did hear that Judge Dredd song by Loose Talk. Mainstream frothy pop, female vocal. I recorded it on cassette (remember the slogan "home recording is killing music"?). It went something like

Judge Dredd - he's back
Gonna give you a hear attack.
Judge Dredd - he's sees red
He'll bring you back alive or dead

I can remember fragments of the verse as well as the chorus, but it'd be too embarrassing to put them up here. I'd love to have a copy of the single, but I wouldn't pay more than a fiver for it. Certainly not what the eBay seller is asking for 'buy it now'. But good luck to 'em; it's a rare thing!
STRIKE !!!

ThryllSeekyr

Somebaody uploaded a studio version of this song. First time I heard it CLEARLY.

I remember a band called Captain America releasing a song called Flame On around 1990.

According to the music papers at the time, not only were the band sued because of their name and the song title, they were sued over their logo as well. It was the old C&A logo with the "&" removed.

Those Rock Star comics are generally awful.

Oh dear, Mr Bolland... :s

really, how does it end?

I wouldn't want to spoil it for you, but it's truly mind-blowing.
