That looks fantastic. Fincher's one of my favs as well, and I was wondering how this was going to look. It definitely seems like he's going for the Gilliam/Burton style, grim fairy tale.

I don't think it's a Gilliam/Burton look at all, quite the opposite, a classical realistic 70's look with relatively little fantasy. It all looks quite literal, like a Kubrick film. The only fantasy element being Button himself.

It reminds me of Delicatessen. Not the characters or subject matter (whatever that is... apart from being the 'curious case of Benjamin etc') but the visual style.

Fincher made one of the best films of last year, Zodiac, that no one went to see. Lets hope more people see this, it looks stunning.
