Help with travel to World Horror Convention

Hey all,

I've just (hopefully) reserved a place at this year's World Horror Convention in Brighton.

I live in Northern Ireland, and wondered what would be the best way to travel there ie. which airport in London is best to fly into in order to best access Brighton (thinking of cost/ distance)?

Any help you could give would be most appreciated. Weirdly, I can't seem to find any tool/ site online to give me this kind of info...

Gatwick will be the nearest main UK airport Hoo-haa. Then it's a one change train journey to Brighton. You literally go one stop to Three Bridges and then get a direct train to the seaside. It's a pretty short trip.
