I sodding well loath that ship.  Lived in Southampton for a while, lodging at one point in a house that some crew member or other lived in, still asked by all and sundry, "Ooh, have you seen the memorial?" and every poxing year it mars my birthday since it had to go and sink on the same ruddy day.  Petulant of me?  Definitely, but it's just all such utter crap.  Of course, most years it doesn't get so much of a mention but this centennial garbage complete with Ship Of Ghouls can't eff off soon enough for me. 
Almost regrettably, I do have an alibi being born quite some decades later*.  I often wish I'd stayed in Southampton at least a couple of years longer but right now?  Glad not to have been around for all this tripe and feeling a little sorry for Dark Jimbo.

*Mind you, I don't have an alibi for Diana's ill-advised Deathrace 2000 reenactment and it all smacks of the same trilling tosh when some twat or other talks about it on the gogglebox.
