Censorship? In an adult-orientated graphic novel from a publisher of adult-orientated graphic novels? I know it's only a small detail of a panel but I was surprised to see it. First page I landed on flicking through the book!
I took that as a joke, but can see the other angle... Wonder which it is?

Tombo

My copy came today, it's a cracking read.  Hints of Elephantmen what with the chimeras and I didn't realise some of the scenes were
flashbacks
until I'd reached the end and went back and looked at the chapter headers.  Can't wait for the next volume.

As for That panel, I think it's probably a joke, either that or Jim Murray tried and failed to draw
some meat and 2 veg
and decided to simply cover it up (like Dredd's face in that early story).  Alternatively the publishers covered it over so they can sell it in less... shall we say, tolerant markets, which apparently is why some of the Cinebooks are censored even though they are marked as mature content.

It looks gorgeous, a great story and going to be a long 15 months...

Got this yesterday, along with a couple of other books. This ones easily the best of the bunch, though I was very surprised to see this on then shelf, as I didn't even realize it was out. The actual production is fantastic. The artwork throughout is astonishingly good. The story is very well told, with some memorable, quirky characters populating the waterlogged London. Recommended!

Has anyone heard any news lately concerning Vol. 2?  I've looked in various places for updates but haven't found anything as yet...
