HiEx

I'm firmly of the opinion that Bond movies should be set in the 60s' or 70s'. None of this contemparary stuff thank you very much.

Oh yeah, and Robbie Williams should be the next James Bond.....I'm serious.............really, I am!

Next film on review[ i'm seeing it tomorrow]is Harry P.uh oh...

Oddboy

Saw 007 on Friday night after 2 drinking sessions, and as such fell asleep during the second half.  Damn.

SPOILERS

But the beginning was really good, I liked his old Jim Morrison hairstyle & the way he lost at the beginning & was beaten & tortured.
And I liked the way he was referred to as a 'British Assassin' - that all took home the fact that he isn't just some super-cool spy guy hero.  Good stuff.
I liked the fencing/sword fighting bit - that was brilliant also.
Then they went to Iceland (I'm not sure exactly why) & then I woke up with the credits rolling.

Then we got a cab home.
Better set your phaser to stun.

I, Cosh

You people are lunatics. The invisible car is, and always has been, amazing.

On the other hand, CGI which looked ropey at the time hasn't improved with age. Is being a matte artist still a viable career path?
We never really die.

The Enigmatic Dr X

Good to see that in 14 years the quality of the threads has been... consistent.
