Okay Bart, wierd stuff you may understand.

The mails came fine, thanks, but when I opened them, the image dowloaded automatically but I could not access them. They are still with the Email as it happens each time I open them.

Did you send them as an attatchment o as something else?

I use AOL (dont know if that makes any difference)

Hummm..

Try this-

Do the jpgs appear in a window (not at full size) in your AOL account?

If so click and hold on the images and drag them straight over onto your desk top- if this doesn't work then contact PVS about it- he should be able to help, I'm only really Mac literate- not PC. Sorry.

Let me know what happens next.

Naw mate, the best I have been able to decipher is that my Email 'cannot display some embedded images'

To get around this I have setthem to my PC at work. That uses Microsoft outlook and may run things differently.

Just as confused as you.

If sending them to your work address doesn't pan out I could try sending them in another format
or to someone else who may in turn be able to post them to you in a way that makes them accessible.

All the images I've sent to PVS seem to have worked so far- If he doesn't mind he could act as go-between..

Just a thought, anyway it's time I climbed the wooden hill.
