Two Lovely pages of Dredd art

I thought you guys might appreciate this. These are two lovely pages of Dredd art by Steve Dillon and I was outbid at the last minute. Damn.

Yeah, I saw those and was sorely tempted.

I don't know whether to be pleased or pissed off that the price rose so high.

It puts a lot of artwork out of my price range, but at least shows such things are valued.

There were actually 4 pages of lovely Dillon art which will soon be posted on the original artwork page of this website. It would be great if everyone who owns any pages/art from 2000ad and or related titles posts theirs on here so we all know where it is and what is still missing

Its a serious question because he may do but not under his "Tarantino" board name,and i'm just interested to know (or being a nosey so-and-so depending on your p.o.v!)

Since you are so interested, I've probably not got as much as you think, espically compared to people like MC1Juve.

But I'll get round to listing it soon.

In the meantime, from the top of my head, I have the front covers of progs 3, 4 and 156. I also have a recent Carlos page from Dredd and a stunning Judge Death Page by Frazer Irving. I also have a great Dredd page from prog - mid 300's and about 30 pages of Simon Fraser from the early Nikolai Dante series.

I just recently sold two pages of Judge Dredd from prog 4 to an American collector for ?500 each. He actually bought them for his wife who used to read them as a child.

I'll try and get round to listing them on this site in the next few months.

sorry mate!no offence meant!just seems like your quite a prolific bidder for 2000ad artwork and for all i knew you might have had it listed under your real name all along and i could have just missed it!

I think considering the story, the artist and the fact that there was 2 pages both lots went for a good price. I would have loved the other set though.
Just can't afford that sort of price at the moment though.

But I do think in a way that it's better to know where stuff goes (always means that you might be able to get them to sell it down the line! If I win the lottery I'm making offers to everyone!)

Fortunately the other set went to me!! Once i have them in my sweaty palms (i will be wearing cotton gloves) i will take pics and post them on the Artwork page so everyone can enjoy them.
Either that or trade a page with a fellow collector( nice teaser eh?)Don't all shout at once
