Donnie Darko backlash

DD's one of my favourite movies and the girl I first saw it with did mention Harvey when we came out. Haven't seen Harvey so can't really compare but thought DD was just really beautifully done and doesn't seem to get old no matter how much I see it.Not keen on a directors cut though as he's apparantly changed some of the songs used,and to me it's gonna feel wrong seeing it with different music. Requiem For A Dream on the other hand I thought was incredible but I don't particularly want to see again. It stayed with me for an upsettingly long time.
