I say our own Megazine should be first to try out a translated version once the fabby Charlie's War finished, thereby proving its the cutting edge and that were not in (shock and) Awe of Yankdom and men in tights!

I'm with the Huffster.  It's be nice to see some Euro stuff in the Meg, it's not easy to find proper Euro stuff translated into English.  How bout it guys?

You can add me to the list of people that would love to see French/Euro stuff translated and reprinted in the Meg. In fact I thinks it's a wonderful idea.

I've read a few of the Humanoids books, plus a couple of French OGN, and often thought that things like Metabarons, Incal, Requiem (Pat Mills), Sanctum etc would fit perfectly into Tooth/Meg. The eclectic mix of sci-fi/horror action and humour are exactly the sort of things "WE" would enjoy!

Claudia Vampire Knight would enhance the Meg considerably..I've only seen the French language copies and my French is ropey to say the least..I'd love to read an English language version..

Martin Jameson

yup, sign me up for this one - would like to see some euro stuff.

I reckon we should get some of the apparently great South American stuff in the Meg.  During the Argentinian 'dirty war' HG Oesterheld was dissappeared for his politically motivated comics.  But there's still no English translation of his works.

Marbles

You can pick up Pat Mills French stuff (Sha,Requiem) translated in Heavy Metal.

A lot of French stuff has great art, but the stories themselves are pretty bizarre & frankly a bit daft. I dunno if its the translation or what, but the Metabarons for instance is the dumbest thing you'll ever read, but fun nevertheless as its shot full of wild & wacky ideas. Plus the dialogue is *so* cheesy it really grates.

Yes I'll second Marbles.  If it's the fault of poor translation, then that's a real shame.  If it's a pretty close analogue of the French dialogue then paleo-Christ, that's awful!

I'd second the call for more Argentian  comics.
