Last of the V8's

After the debate at Dreddcon as to who the audience should be for 2000,and wether a younger readers edition should be in the market look at this weeks hard ass cover.
Last week we had the lovely storybook look of Ian Gibsons Robo-Hunter cover, looking like a kids comic, sitting next to the juvenile titles in W.H.Smiths fitting in well,''ooh look at the cute dragon'' says Mum, ''I'll buy this for little Tommy'', and now this week we have this superb rendition of Dredd surrounded by nuclear holocaust. Next to Barbie? I don't think Mum will be buying for little Tommy this time.
Still at least it will stand out in the mass of kids comics on the rack this week.

Floyd-the-k

I picked a Lawman of the Future when I was back home. It wasn`t bad, but as a kids comic it sucked. It was more like decaffeinated Dredd if that makes any sense, same level of complexity and violence but simpler and less dialogue.
Sure, why not have a younger readers edition.
