This was produced by our joint second youngest entrant at eight years old, and was our largest entry by far (so large, in fact, that we didn?t actually have a scanner large enough to copy it!). Although not strictly within the boundaries of a comic book (unless it was a gatefold cover!), this piece still impressed through it?s use of watercolour, and it?s strong centra image of the snail itself.

What do you want me to do, hand her back her work whilst shouting "YOU HAVE NO FUTURE IN ART, YOU SHITTY DRAWING LITTLE GIRL!"?

I already had to lie to the mother about where her daughter came ("...Er...fifth! Yes! She came fifth, and...we...were all...very...impressed")

I'll have you know that my friends girlfriend really liked it. Or quite liked it. Or thought it was okay in any case.

I think pretty much all the prizes have been given away, but I should be getting a load of posters in the next few days, some of which are signed by current hoor whiz-kid Steve Niles, amongst others, and if you're interested I would be more than happy to pass some of these your way.

What I might do, if it's alright with you, is I might give you some money myself, and then try and claim it back from Camden, as I'm still waiting for a few hundred pounds worth of expenses I've incurred through this thing, and I still haven't been paid back yet, and I don't think it's fair to keep you waiting.
