Revelation 6:8

>Yes, I like Bellardinelli. Yes, I like Jesus Redondo. But does that mean I want to sit through months worth of turgid, childish storylines when I could be reading stuff like Nemesis book II or Ace Trucking Co?

I'd love to see http://www.2000adonline.com/index.php3?zone=thrill&page=profiles&choice=meltdown>Meltdown Man in an Extreme Edition.

I enjoyed this.

Unnecessarily naked bum on page 2, plus loads of taking the shirt off unecessarily, made me think it was another coded gay strip a la Strontium Dog, but there was a bikini-clad lady in there and a nice-looking Soviet chick to reassure the Daily Mail readers.

Highlights -
- stupid country names.
- eerie forecast of 11/9
- really good use of the word "twat"

"- eerie forecast of 11/9"

But with a zeppelin though.

Did anyone else notice that none of the terrorits featured in the strip (of which there were surprisingly many) never actually seemed to have a particular cause, other than the exporting of terror?

Perhaps they were the A.R.S.H.E: the Aryan Reversal Society of the Hindenberg Enigma, dedicated to proving that the Hindenberg disaster was faked by the forces of international Jewery and outsize sock-puppets, in order to discredit the might of German technological prowess?

Intriguing! I think the Author - Andy McNab, is a tooth fan. Not only does he soundbite Judge Dredd in one of his novels, but his main character is called Nick Stone...http://www.2000adonline.com/covers/scans/mediumres/211.jpg">

What amazed me was the fact that, if you put MACH 1 alongside stories like The Destructivore and what have you in Solar Wind, there's not much difference.
It makes SW look like it's written with no irony at all!

Generally Contrary

I loved it!  The 'angry IN MY SKULL!' line was fantastic, but I couldn't help laughing as the soldiers panicked as Probe drove TWO JEEPS AT ONCE.

It is the template for SW strips.

Actually, while I read this I was plotting out the third episode of Destructivore, which will have Jason Gritt aquiring HYPERPUNCTURE ABILITIES that will enable him to kill ten men per panel.
Try again. Fail again. Fail better.

Richmond Clements

Magic! The Destructivore rocks.
I'd love to see him beat the shit out of Dredd.

The Destructivore was indeed top class. I laughed harder than anything I've read all year.
