Another techy question.. please help!

Computer starts. I get one long beep and three short beeps.

monitor doesn't kick in at all.

Think my video card is up the shit and need replaced but would appreciate advice before putting my hand in my pocket.

You're video card is either knackered or could do with being re-seated (although if it's not had a knock or been moved or opened and fiddled with it's more likely that the card is knackered)

Before it gave in compleatly it was working on and off (sort off, I could at leat get the monitor working in low resolution).

Tried re-seating it and it hasn't worked since.

I think a trip to PC world is needed!!
