The latest audio drama from Big Finish is called `Grud is Dead`. It`s a rip-roaring adventure with Dredd unwillingly working together with Devlin Waugh as they battle a bunch of (I think) renegade Vatican City Judges and an occult menace.
and I think it`s pretty good! Once I got used to Peter Guiness` Devlin Waugh not sounding as I`d imagined him (a problem I had with Toby Longworth`s Dredd at first), I found it quite gripping.  The story (by James Swallow from an idea by Simon Jowett) is a lot like John Smith`s occult stuff, with perhaps a bit less jargon.
 It`s well worth buying.
A few quibbles though. I think Dredd spends too much time sniping at Waugh and at the other characters in general. It`s meant to show he`s tough and ruthless but sometimes comes across as fussy and/or bitchy. I know `strong and silent` can`t just be done with actual silence on a CD but still

Ha ha ha!

The concept of a "bitchy" Dredd is one I find very amusing. :)
