I thought I'd ask this here before I go pulling out my boxes of back progs. Is there anyway to get into the Justice Department from the undercity? Tunnels that lead  up into it. Or any official portal they would use from the Justice Department to get into the undercity if they needed to? I seem to recall something in Incubus, but can't remember if that was simply a bloody big hole created by the alien's blood.

Incubus, yes. And isn't there a tunnel used in Apocalypse War or Day the Law Died?
Better set your phaser to stun.

Tordelbach

Both.  In the Hall of Heroes, I think.

Tordelbach

Ah.  Wait.  That tunnel was in the old (or possibly New) Grand Hall.  We're on (at least) the New New Grand Hall, so it may not follow.  There is however a network Justice Dept "bunker"-style tunnels under much of the city, connecting with the Grand Hall, as seen in 'Doomsday', so I think that might fit the bill.

Richard

There are gateways dotted around all over the city, such as the one they used in Cry of the Werewolf.

Lobo Baggins

There doesn't seem to be a way of getting into the Grand Hall of Justice directly from the Undercity - the tunnel into the Hall of Heroes seems to connect to something else (a building across the street, presumably), as Dredd and co can be seen exiting from the sewers/Undercity via a manhole before they use the tunnel (prog 106 - 107), and in any case the Grand Hall and the tunnel was burned down by Dredd during the Apocalypse Way.

The Grand Hall of Justice extendes through the New York part of the Undercity, although it doesn't seem to have a door (Mr Bones needed to blast a hole in it to get in).

The Justice Department has at least thirty-one gates that they can use to enter the Undercity at any time (as seen in Cry of the Werewolf, Karyn: Concrete Sky and others).  They also appear to have drilled at least one hole in Judge Anderson: Reasons to be Cheerful, and Fergee and the Creep can get from the Mega-City to the Undercity via the sewer system.
The wages of sin are death, but the hours are good and the perks are fantastic.

I'd think that the tunnel Dredd used in The Apocalypse War was destroyed when he burned down the Grand Hall during his escape.
