The revamped Solar Wind website is now up and running thanks to the Herculean efforts of webdrone Rob Lees (UKDane).  Feel free to wander around, but please, take off your muddy shoes before entering.

Work continues apace on Issue 5 of Solar Wind (Horror theme), and we're still (as we ever are) looking for comic artists for various strips.

The issue will be on sale at Bristol in May.

Stay Cosmic!

Thanks to Art Wyatt for helping me out on one or two small bits of javascript.

If anyone finds any deadlinks, or anyone is a contributor, and wants to put up a biog or link to their own website, please contact PVS.

Webdrone Out!

Found a typo in the History section:

"These show a flame heard man with a moustache"

Flame haired, shurely?

"who was said to have caused the Norman's a lot of trouble"

Lose the apostrophe.

"The 21st Century, often know as the dull century"

Known

Dunno if this is helpful or annoying, so I'll stop now...
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Oh, the new layout's very nice, by the way!

Well, you could e-mail me them instead of posting them up here...

I had the first one, like the second one and thanks for the third one.

MY score is 5 so far.

It seems as though some sort of networm typo virus has gone through the website and added typos.  There's just no other rational explanation.

House of Usher

Very entertaining and informative. The one thing I miss, though, is the 'characters' page.
STRIKE !!!

Funtwangle

Thank the maker!  I really thought my entry was going to link to my old site...

Love the new logo!
Pffft...

JEB: Think I'd ket you down? ;-)

HoU: Thanks for that- the characters page is something Cosmic Ray and myself have discussed a lot, and in the end we decided against it. However- it may well make a reappearance in the not too distant future.

Cheers

Why not?  Everybody else does!

I missed the character pages too.

"Well, you could e-mail me them instead of posting them up here..."

Damn you and your cold, logical mind sir!
I never thought of that...

BTW I assume you'll be adding a link to the new FutureWuake site once it's up?

"BTW I assume"

Perhaps you assume too much... Richard is going to send me the link when the new site is up.

"Damn you and your cold, logical mind sir!"

It doesn't really matter whether you put typos here or e-mail them to me, I get em either way.

"The one thing I miss, though, is the 'characters' page."

Ha ha!

"I missed the character pages too."

Ah-ha-ha-ha!

The Character's page will return at some point.   We need one ore two line only summaries for them all, and also brief biogs for the Drones page as well.

Just to put out another call for artists for Solar Wind#5/Sunny #2 (I'll keep doing it till I fall over and my lungs shrivel, or I reach the deadline) there's always lots to do...

And then, there's this rather shameful and desperate bid to get rid of some various ink cartridges I got in a job lot with some printer supplies.

Okay, Okay, here is what I got along with the toners I actually wanted:

1 x Panasonic Drum unit. KX-PDM5 (NEW)
1 x Panasonic Drum unit. KX-PDM5 (Package Open but unused)
1 x Canon FX2 Cartridge BLACK ( NEW)
1 X SAMSUNG Toner Cartridge SF6061DRTD. FOR Msys6400, Msys6500,Dex825, SF6050,SF6100,SF6500( This has been open and used a few time)

Canon IS-32
Canon BCI-3EC - Cyan
Canon BCI-3EY - Yellow
Generic Cartridge compatible with 51629A
Canon BC1-11 Colour
Canon Compatible BCI-11BK

Yes, a lot isn't it. I'm hoping to get some money back for what I spent on the toners I wanted, but I'm prepared to be fairly generous to small press peoples (whether they are used for your comics or not) and people from the message board.

So, any takers?

Paul
