...Actually no, it's not about sex. In fact I have had to be sneeky because I have already asked my question and didn't get one lousy hit! Not one, nix, nada, zip! Figured sex sells, so it must at least make 2000AD fans curious enough to come here. My question is actually about the free gifts. All I wanted to know is the Star Wars stickers or Dune or any really; are they the same stickers for each prog bought? IE: If two of us bye the same issue do we get the same stickers? I'm trying to collect the free gifts only I want to make sure I get the right ones. If you don't know at least write something! You got no idea how sad zero hits looks like next to your name. sheeesh.

The answers too you questions are as follows:

(1) In the area of Kings Cross station.

(2) Five pounds, or a can of Tenents Super.

(3) No, contrary to popular belief an empty crisp packet and an elastic band will not do.

(4) See your doctor for the correct ointment.

depends on the packing,
they tend to be randomly inserted as with the packets you buy,
in my experience anyway, if its a direct free packet just like in the shops then you can pretty much confirm each prog is differnt.

if its a marketing tool by the mag. you may find a selection of hard to get or exclusive inserts which encourage you to buy more then one issue.

i tend to wait for the ebay method. get a full set and pay an amount of money you feel is worth while.

currently the playing cards with the meg are of course all the same.
I AM VERY BUSY!

always thought if you got a pack of stickers you were getting a random pack. If you got a sheet of stickers that all the sheets were the same.

You know the free gift that really freaked me out?

The Babylon Five postcards. I'm convinced you can see that woman's public hair.

Eugh.

Trout

LOL!

I mean pubic hair.

Although public is also correct, in this context. :-)

House of Usher

I was not under the impression that a complete collection of 2000AD had to include all the free gifts, except the ones that were made specifically for the purpose (badges, posters, Red Alert survival wallets, etc).

E.g - if it had bubblegum sellotaped to the cover, I don't think I'd regard the bubblegum as being valuable or important unless it was special '2000AD bubblegum'. For me, the same goes for collectable stickers packs.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?
STRIKE !!!

Carlsborg Expert.

How do you store stickers and cards, like that?
I saw saw them in bulky files and trays.

Surely theres a less scruffy and compact way?

Better binders with the storage capacity of an ancient tomb, sounds much more civilized.

Is there a chance of getting this subject under the microscope?
Its interests must run deep with much of this community? Or do I have to start an illfated thread, that gets an immediate fatwa upon it?
