Dudley

Um, anybody know which episodes are to feature additional dialogue etc from occasional boarder Paul Cornell?

Wils

According to the Inaccurate Movie Database, he's written Episode 8.

Oddboy

The photoshopping in those pictures was fairly lame though...

But as Dudley just said: the bad stuff doesn't actually matter. It was just wonderful television.

(Anyone else notice that Rose's mum was actually in a shopping centre in Cardiff during the invasion of London?)
Better set your phaser to stun.

Banners

(Anyone else notice that Rose's mum was actually in a shopping centre in Cardiff during the invasion of London?)

And that area of London where Rose lived had a distinctly Welsh feel...(!)

WoD

I thought it was great (as did Mrs-WoD - the other end of the viewing spectrum) and it was extra fun spotting the Cardiff locations.

I'm looking forward to the rest.

LARF

Yeh good point Mrs Larf thought it was wonderful and is also looking forward to the next episode. She especially thought Billy was a very good role model for young girls - hard working, thoughtful, decisive, pretty, blonde, intelligent and loves to run off with older men, over 300 times her age, that she's only just met.

Carlsborg Expert.

I thought the best thing, according the old Dr Who rulings, was the full view of actual limbs being torn off and then becoming immediatly inert objects that makes the Dr look like a five year old fucking about in his backyard or an abandoned teachers centre.
old skool.

paulvonscott

I found this nice little radio show on the Radio Wales site.  All about the Welsh involvement in Doctor Who, there's another one this saturday.

I was pleasantly surprised, it's got some really nice funny moments in, the presenter is good, and it's more entertaining than most of the Doctor Who documentaries I've seen!

Uses BBC/RealPlayer thing

Quirkafleeg

Devons Daddy

10.5 million tuned in?????

is that correct. bloody hell. thats impressive. just saw it on the local internet rag from plymouth.
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

Lobo Baggins

Well, the official viewing figures from BARB are in for the week including the first episode - Doctor Who is third in the BBC1 chart, meaning that it's the most watched programme on TV apart from EastEnders and Corination Street.

Which is nice.

The wages of sin are death, but the hours are good and the perks are fantastic.

Steamboy

Necro post for the OZ boarders(well Floyd and Tu-Plang anyway). that was just awsome, waaaay  better that I thought it would be(even after spoiling myself with these threads). The new Doctor is absolutly manic, the Autons had their special little guns that I remember as a kid and the internals of the TARDIS look wick too(nice and organic which is a nice nod to the whole TARDIS alive thing that Bakers Doctor went on about. Onbly dissapointment 45mins is just not enought Doctor for me and I have tpo wait 7 more days to see the next one.
The best new series on TV this year so far.
