You guys really want a film that'll blow you away?

Sin City is awesome in the extreme being a very good adaption of the classic comics, remaining true to the original. I sat and watched it, then remained staring at the screen for hours afterwards. The Usher's even threatened to call a Judge in the end as I was unable to pay for a second viewing, just sitting there mouthing "Wow," and "That was ace." over and over again.

Since seeing it it's been recommended to me by people who have never read a comic in their life and have no idea of it's roots. They are normally suitably awed when I finish rummagging in the back room and eventually emerge clutching Frank Millar's creation.

Sin City works on so many levels.

Hell yeah, anyone who hasn't MUST see this film, it's the one comic adaptation I've seen that not only managed to avoid screwing anything up, but surpassed all my expectations and then some! This can never be recommended enough.

i saw this.. it was ace-a-mungus. possibly the best adaption of a comic i have seen,

I really injoyed it aswell.

The DVD out August looks like the vanilla edition though.So I think I'll wait and hopefully they will release the edition with the full length versions of the stories,in by Christmas.
