I breifly thought... 'It's Kong!' but rapidly realised that would be too stupid for words...

Oh and I think we can discount (according to an article I read about it): they are all dead, they are all dead and they are in purgatory, anything to do with the Bermuda Triangle, anything to do with UFOs in general...

too stupid for words

Thanks, Gary. :-P

The Rapture?  With raptors?

Mr C

Anyone played Far Cry? If so then you should be able to guess y theory for what the island is.

As mentioned elsewhere on this site, the series finished earlier in the year in Denmark (just after US).

THERE WAS A MOJOR SPOILER HERE BUT I DECIDED TO DELETE IT AS I DON'T KNOW WHAT EPISODES HAVE BEEN SHOWN IN UK YET.

What is the monster?

Why os there a polar bear on the island?

Who will escape the island?

Why?

There are plenty of spoilers to have on the internet, one of the best sites to try for fun (and possibly a few spoilers) is the ocean air webpage (ocean being the fake airline company)- now... who sat where?????

Spoilers and teasers a plenty for you there!
Cheers

"ocean being the fake airline company"

What?  They couldn't get any airlines to cash in on that lucrative product placement?

Eagle-eyes pop quiz: Who is the producer of "the comic"?

It was a DC Justice League type thing wasn't it?

Lord Running Clam

I really injoyed the first two episodes.

They've got a good mix of characters that look to kick up all kinds of conflicts,so it hopfully won't get boring on that front.

The unseen beast and Polar bear were both cool and look forward to seeing what else the show throws up.

Mr C

Justice Society of America, actually.

Just watched the second part of the pilot.  Hmm... so there's a polar bear in the comic, and then people get attacked by a polar bear in the forest?  That could be pointing towards some sort of reality-influenced-by-people's-subconscious plot twisty thing.

Personally I'm still hoping it's all down to exiled were-penguins and their arctic minions, but there you go.

Mr C

But, but, Penguins and Polar Bears don't mix... unless it's a battleground for a Were Polar mutant fight!
W00t!

Thursday

Penguins and polar bears don't usually mix, this is true.  But these are exiled were-penguins, thrown out of the great were-penguin empire for associating with the polar scum.

Of course, you could have a battle between the were-emperor penguins, the exiled were-penguins with their polar bear minions, and some rebel were-polar bears determined to end the were-penguin oppression... in fact, you could just ditch the whole plane crash business and get straight down to the monstrous scrapping.

Cameo for Shako, anyone?

Satanist

Hmm, a fictitious animal Battle Royale? Channel 5 might go for that.

FIGHT!!!
Hmm, just pretend I wrote something witty eh?
