Frew's Phantom no 1442 has a story by none other than David Bishop. Called 'the skull necklace', it is a good strong story, more complex than most Phantom stories (not that that's difficult) involving one of the Phantom's brothers, a Kali-worshipping cult and a loyal and buxom African woman.  Art by Cesar Spadari.

Arse, my secret is out! True be told, I love writing the no nonsense pulpy adventures of the Ghost Who Walks, havign grown up reading Australian reprints of the character that got imported to New Zealand.

FWIW, The Skull Necklace is part one of a trilogy. Part Two (The Empress of India) is on sale now in Sweden, Norway and Finland, while Part Three (The Goddess of Death) is out next week. Australian readers probably have a few months to wait before they see those chapters, as Frew Comics is running behind Egmont Sweden by several issues at present.
