Pffft...

Buddy

Any and all of these film could be great if handled properly.

Personally I'd love to see a faithful Fury flick, with all those amazing Sterenko vehicles and visuals (could it be set in the sixties/seventies like to book).

But past experience shows that Hollywood is more interested in a fast buck than a good film.

The Hoff Fury film was pants and a prime example of how NOT to handle a property.

No mention of Silver Surfer, perhaps in the FF sequal Galactus will make an appearance and with that teh Silver Surfer and with that a Surfer spin off pic.

Well, it could happen.

WoD

Looking through the list of possible movies, it struck me that they'd maybe used all of the big money spinners already.  Considering the costs of movie production and advertising, I'd say the Big G has a good point.  Glad I always preferred DC...

"it's like, they got a few successful comic based movies and now they're just trying to milk it for all it's got before superhero's at the cinema becomes old news."

Worked with the comics, didn't it?
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Skewsy

there are tons of comic movies coming our way: sadly, daredevil 2, hulk 2. can't wait for Superman returns and ghost rider, oh and course x-men 3. disappointed with the plug being pulled on Watchmen. V for vendetta is looking okay, if not a bit poslished.

Ultimates, Huge block buster potential. i mean its already scripted like a movie, politically relevant and the best version of Thor i've ever read, only problem would be seperating the Hulk from the Ang Lee movie and we need the Ultimate Hulk for the movie to work(atleast if they base it on the first or second arc).

This is a disaster waiting to happen.

"The characters involved are some of the most valuable in the Marvel Universe" says Avi Arad. What is he smoking?

I mean, most of these characters can?t even sell a monthly book. Dr. Strange, Shang-Shi, Hawkeye? Lol.

Coupled with PG13 - translating no mature themes, family friendly only - is further restricting.

The Nick Fury-movie may have been crap, but it delivered exactly what they could do with the premise.

Mudcrab

Hmm, Dr Strange, cool. Captain America, hmm. The Avengers, hmm, Thor will be impossible not to laugh at. The rest I've never heard of. Was he in the Avengers? Bah, don't care.

Note that I've only heard of Dr Strange because of my old Marvel trump cards.

I just hope they do SS - "High over the roof of the world he soars, the restless streaking (? that can't be right) stranger from the furthest reaches of space, whom man shall call forevermore The Silver Surfer!"

That's him on the Sex Offenders Register then!
NEGOTIATION'S OVER!

Buddy

I liked the Hulk movie.

I was really up for destroying it before I seen it but was very suprised with the outcome.

I thought it was really very good.

I'd like to see someone like Woody Allen do a Spiderman movie, a director so obviously in love with New York city and a comic character so involved with New York city. I't be interesting o see.

There was a rumour yers ago the Martin Scorsessi (sp?) was to do spider man as another of his 'New York' movies.
