Just watched Danny Boyle's Millions on dvd.

One of the best films I've seen for a long time.

Highly recommend it to all.

Buttonman

Out on DVD on 21/11/2005 - you must have a time machine or a parrot, Jim lad!

I thought this was twee and sentimental and much prefer the sweets which share the name. Daisy Donovan didn't cut it for me as the love interest and the baddies were about as menacing as a plate of sandwiches.

Pretty inoffensive but that's hardly a recommendation. Try 'Bad news bears' if family comedy with an edge is your bag.

No time machine, just a laptop.

It's out on Region 3 already.

DavidXBrunt

Now I quite fancied that but James Nesbitt is on my enemies list.

"You'll get yours, Nesbitt!"
Dan Dare will return for a new adventure soon, Earthlets!

Queen Firey-Bou

i watched it with juvey on the screen machine, thats a mobile lorry cinema that turns up once a blue moon, its very bizarre the way it concertinas out & once your in its like a wee normal cinema, not a lorry at all.

i was probably in a hightened emotional state, which tends to happen when i go to the cinema, Its the shock of sitting still or something..
anywey i thought it was a gorgeous film, afterall do the themes of bank robbery, cardboard boxes & death not resonate with us all? sniffle.

tell ya, i howled me eyes out at beauty & the beast.
