I didn't see any movies on my birthday - but I watched Rushmore the day after.

I doubt I'd watch the same movie every birthday, not when there's a very high chance of having received a movie or two as a present.

There's more to Brazil than that. It's a mad, satirical comedy, the hero has a vivid fantasy life, and it has brilliant design going for it too.

Robert Wise has died aged 91, he won an Oscar for his editing on it. He also directed The Day The Earth Stood Still.
