New Poll: What's the best reason to be a vegetarian?

Me, I voted for the "miserable conditions" option. It doesn't perfectly fit why I'm vegetarian - part of it is that I just have no taste for meat, and haven't since I was about 6 - but it's probably the main reason.

I don't like eating meat, but I have no problem with other people doing so. I would prefer that people were more aware of the shitty conditions that a lot of the animals end up in, and I have a great deal of sympathy with the groups that are trying to highlight this (strike PETA off that list, though. Fucking muppets...) I'm firmly of the belief that eating meat does *not* mean you shouldn't have concern for the welfare and treatment of the animals that end up on your plate.
