It's interesting that they seem to be billing this as an extension from Superman II and using a lot of the same imagery, music and Brando from the first two movies.

I love that head slowly raising showing off the kiss curl!

I'm confident Singer can do something good with this but having rewatched Superman the Movie recently with Tiny Tips, poor young Brandon Routh would have had his work cut out getting people to see beyond Christopher Reeve even without the constant harking back to the DCs finest hour.
