Hooray, there's a rather nice video of me dancing around in a big pair of glasses and a hat. I'm dead proud of meself so have a look at it if you're bored!

Desperately trying to steer this blatent bit of self promotion on topic, I bought a piece of ABC Warriors artwork this week (shown below) in which Deadlock says that teachers are the worst kind of criminals 'cos they imprison children's minds (true in far too many cases.) It's hanging in my office now as a permanent reminder of what I never want to become!

I won a nice cheque for ?2,500 (which I'm sharing with my staff of course) and one for my school too.

I've also won a pile of bloody work with loads of organisations asking me to write articles and stuff for them and I'm giving a few talks around the country. I don't mind doing any of this at all but I'm totally knackered!

The sad thing is, I left Portland School in July (it broke me heart) and am now working at a City Learning Centre where I get to do great stuff all day with pupils from all over the city.

I really miss my special kids (and I know they're missing me!) though thankfully I get to see them often as wild horses can't keep me away.
